Thanks so much to Jenny for taking the time to host a great holiday book club. Complete with a tree, snacks and even a parlor game (courtesy of Michelle). Amidst all the festivities we did manage to pick a new book for January. It will be Sweet Mandarian by Helen Tse. It's self titled as "The Courageous True Story of Three Generations of Chinese Women and Their Journey from East to West". Jenny picked up her copy at BJs and I may suggest the same - didn't find too many copies at the local libraries.
I hope everyone has a great holiday season and finds some quiet time for reading. Those of you who haven't finished "The Book Thief", make sure you do. It's a wonderful book. Happy reading!

Hi; If anyone finishes the book prior to our next meeting can I borrow it? Have the book on hold at the library, but looks like others are ahead of me..a popular book! Thanks!
