By the way, for those of you with young sons or nephews, cousins, etc. a few of us went to hear Anthony Horowitz speak about his Alex Rider series. The books are about a 14 year old boy named Alex Rider who Horowitz describes as a teenage James Bond. It was a great event, and I feel like we were pretty lucky to get to hear him. He spoke in Wellesly (I think) earlier that day and then that was it for MA. He was energetic and obviously very enthusiastic about his books and the legions of young fans who read them. It got my 9 year old hesitant reader to actually finish a whole book by himself in under a week! Not bad!

Though, OK, to be honest, my kid would still rather read Wimpy Kid :-)
