We had a quiet meeting. Just me, Erin, Carla and Jenny (thank you for hosting!). The 3 of us who read the book all enjoyed it - so if you haven't finished, give it a go. The writing was good, the characters superb, and the ending different enough to get us all talking. I would say it's one of those books that will come up in conversations months from now.
Our next selection will be "The Light Between Oceans" by M. L. Stedman
Erin and I have both heard good reviews of it. It is available in paperback and Clift Rodgers does have a copy so if you want to be on the list for it, just let me know. I think it is out right now but I am sure I could get it to you soon enough. It may have a bit of a heartbreaking ending... so Kris, feel free to read ahead and let us know!
I hope everyone is healthy and surviving the cold snap. Snowy days ahead should provide ample time for reading! Next meeting will be at my house, 8pm, on Thursday March 7th.
