Funny Books?

OK, so it seems like we've been reading a lot of war-related, not-so-upbeat, or heavy feminist books lately. (not to mention exceptionally small-printed) It has been suggested that we try something lighter. Maybe even funny. To that end I've been looking around, asking questions. One title that came up was "Breakfast with Buddha". I don't know if it's exactly funny, but it's been described as quiet, pleasing and witty in some reviews. Check it out.

Also: I don't know this author, but someone mentioned Jay Lumbert. A Bostonian. Financial guy I think. But supposedly writes some page-turners. Then there is Tim Dorsey who someone called "...Carl Hiaasen and Elmore Leonard on crack." And, I still have my copy of "I am America (And So Can You!)" by Stephen Colbert on my bookshelf!

The trick will be finding something that's funny, or at least light-hearted, but still worth discussing...
