When next we meet...

Quite a successful last-of -the year book club meeting I thought.  Let's do it every December!  Gary Braver was very personable and I thought it was fabulous to get a little insight into the mind of the author.  His tales about where his ideas and characters came from were awesome.  Maybe we should all go on a diving expedition off New Guinea!  And getting some Christmas shopping done to boot just made it even better.  Thanks to Michelle for hosting (again) and to everyone for the delicious food.

Our next meeting will be Wednesday January 14th at Jenny's house.  The book is The Thirteenth Tale by Diane Setterfield.  (FYI  - At the Eames Way book fair yesterday there were copies of the book for only $10!!)  It's a bit of a Gothic ghost story/mystery.  It's been around for awhile so there are plenty of reviews out there.  Nice thing is, though most reviews are favorable, you do see a few that are not.  Hopefully that means we'll have plenty to discuss.  There is a reading group guide out there as well, but I have not looked at it because I don't want to spoil any surprises.  Some members of the group however might enjoy a sneak peek...

Happy Reading

Hey, any "Twilight" movie reviews you'd like to share?
