Next Meeting: Dec 3rd

Next meeting is set for December 3rd.  That leaves 10 days to finish up!  I did start "Gray Matter" and so far it seems pretty interesting.  It's a bit tough after finishing "The Master" I have to be honest... but it's grabbed my attention and I'm looking forward to reading more.  And speaking of reading more, it seems my to-read list just keeps growing and growing.  I recently got an email from a friend who is reading "The Brief Wondrous life of Oscar Wao" by Junot Diaz.  His from my old stomping grounds in Jersey.  Won the Pulitzer this year.  Available in paperback.  Could be a good option for the club.

I know though.  Let's get through one thing at a time, eh?  I'm looking forward to the next meeting and the butternut squash pizza (sounds yummy).  I'll plan to bring a non-sweet item.  Maybe chips and dip?  Guacamole?  Not very seasonal I know, but I do love avocados...
